Mallah or Malas are a type of Buddhist rosary. Usually consisting of 108 beads which is a very auspicious number in Buddhism. Mallah beads are used to aid meditation and prayer with each bead representing a mantra repetition.

These beautiful Mala beads are handmade from Turquoise stones.  Turquoise is an opaque stone that ranges from blue to green in colour. The most valuable turquoise stones generally have a more smooth, solid colour, while many stones have brown veins throughout.
